Excellence in LASIK Surgery
By invitation only Dr. Mielcarek attended the Global Users Meeting of LadarWave
Custom Wavefront excimer laser held in Dallas, Texas in late October 2006. He learned
the latest and most accurate use of the Wavefront-Guided LASIK for all nearsightedness,
farsightedness, and astigmatism. Discussions were held on how to coordinate LASIK with
the latest ReStor® implantable lenses. Dr. Mielcarek enjoyed
discussing cases with other LASIK surgeons throughout the United States and Canada.
Independently, Dr. Mielcarek was approved by Alcon for their bifocal implantable
ReStor lens. While the ReStor lens is not covered by any insurances, it helps to eliminate glasses.
