Practice Philosophy

Mielcarek Eye associates was founded on the core belief that our patients should have their best vision for a lifetime. This belief was cemented with Dr, Mielcarek as he was serving as chief resident at the University of Pennsylvania’s Scheie Eye Istitute. Dr Scheie conveyed the highest level of surgical and diagnostic skills, as well as an organized approach towards patient care.

Eileen Dickson Mielcarek has always put the care and comfort of the patient as her first priority. While obtaining her nursing degree from University of Pennsylvania, Eileen stood out as an attentive and understanding caretaker. That practice is continued today as she assists and takes care of patients before and after their cataract surgery with Dr. Mielcarek. Eileen’s philosophy is ingrained with the technicians and opticians at Mielcarek Eye Associates. Our goal is to personally take care of our patients and understand their needs.
